Use content to make sure returning customers remember you!

Making a sale with a RETURNING customer takes much less effort than gaining a NEW customer. So what can you do to keep your loyal fans coming back?
My popular client Spectacular Opticians sends out a regular email newsletter that is very effective in reminding their customer-base to come in for regular eye checks or spectacle upgrades.
🙄 I know I heard you sigh at 'newsletter', but a good email newsletter can be a genuine pleasure for your customers to find in their inbox.
👓 Here's what we do with Spectacular's newsletter that makes it a success: 👓
1️⃣ Use your customers' commonly asked questions as a starting point for your content. Fill your newsletter with tips they actually want to know.
2️⃣ Keep a balance of content. Every newsletter should include:
- mostly useful tips, tricks and expertise on your subject
- some introduction to new products or services readers might find interesting
- a bit of reminding readers of the unique selling points that make you great
3️⃣ Make it very readable. Break up your content into small chunks of text with lots of headings/sub headings and bullet points to make it easy to scan read.
4️⃣ Include a Call To Action after every section. Ultimately, you send out the newsletter to prompt your customers to get in touch with you again.
